Writing with the Land with Dani Burlison

Come together for a free morning writing workshop exploring relationship to place and belonging. We’ll gather outside in the garden at Escolar and I’ll provide writing prompts around themes of place, belonging, relationship to land and more. Light snacks and tea will be provided, along with a shade structure in the case of a sunny morning (please bring additional sun protection and your own notebook and writing utensil).

This free writing workshop for Sonoma County Residents is a part of a larger public art program called Ancestors of Place, made possible through an art grant from Creative Sonoma's ArtSurround Program. An additional event and chapbook release reception will take place at Escolar in Fall 2023.
