Aside from your creative work do you have any additional source of income?
Nope, 100% creative work.
Who do you live with and how do you feel about that?
I live with my partner, Judi Hyman. She is a blessing to any living situation. She is the perfect person to be on house arrest with – I have been steadily working, but she has been steadily working, cleaning, cooking, and exercising.
How are you spending your time?
• Getting high
• Working on work, personal project, and collaborations
• Music, movies, and T.V shows
• Juggling, walking, and sunbathing
• Getting better at Spanish with a new app
• Networking
• Setting up projects
• Zoom meetings
How is the pandemic impacting you?
Emotionally – I’m doing okay, but I do feel anxious when all I hear or see is about the virus – breaks from that are a necessity for me. Social media is super depressing with people’s nonstop recognition of posts, memes, and news stories. When I stay away from that type of input, I’m really good.
My creativity level is high right now, like a portal is open. I’m enjoying utilizing that.
What do you want to accomplish personally and/or professionally during this time?
I have been excited about exploring my past unexplored ideas and I want to get a bunch of these collaborations moving while people are stuck.
What kind of world do you want to see on the other side of this?
I think it has already made people a little kinder … this situation affects everyone in one way or another, so I want to see humans start thinking about making a better world, not just making more money. It seems like health care will get figured out a little better. I want to see more trading/bartering for goods and services, growing food …
